After starting out in music journalism during her communications and media studies in Leipzig, Vivien Mierzkalla can now look back on fourteen years of independent label and music PR work in Berlin. At internationally operating labels such as Domino Recordings and Humming Records, as well as verstärker Medienmarketing, she has managed campaigns for artists such as Courtney Barnett, Kamasi Washington, alt-J, Petula Clark, Mac DeMarco, K.Flay and VIMES.

Since 2017, she has represented Secretly Group, the label group of the independent US labels Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar, Saddest Factory and Secretly Canadian, as label manager in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where she oversees a broad catalogue of bands ranging from Phoebe Bridgers, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Mitski, Slowdive, Toro y Moi, Khruangbin to Sharon Van Etten and Bon Iver.

When she's not honing her pizza skills, she also represents the Cologne band Sea Moya in management.
