Moritz (he/him) is a practical environmental scientist and works in the fields of climate protection, biodiversity and transformation. His studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg shaped his inter- and transdisciplinary approach with a focus on climate justice. His original training in shipping and later conservation training help him to convey the complex field of sustainability.

In addition to previous projects, in the interplay of culture and sustainability, he now leads the project "Celebrating the Future" in Cologne, to use a holistic approach not only to reduce emissions, but also to promote a culture of sustainability. As a former ranger of the Berlin Foundation for Nature Conservation, board member of the non-profit association "Vereint für Wälder" (United for Forests) and freelance sustainability consultant, he tries to mediate in current areas of tension and point out positive examples of a social-ecological transformation.

Many years of experience from the climate justice movement and in initiatives such as "Klimaneustart Berlin" were formative in this.
