Keno Mescher has been working as a freelancer in radio - and later also in podcasting - since 2003. He began his career at the Cologne university radio station Kölncampus. As a presenter of music programs, open magazines in the daily program and live events, he can currently be heard primarily at WDR COSMO and WDR3. As a producer, author, music director and format developer, he has worked for SWR, Deutschlandfunk, 1Live, Radio Bremen, the Akademie der Künste der Welt, the NRW KULTURSekretariat, the Heinrich-Böll Stiftung, the Initiative Musik and - until it was discontinued - also for the Red Bull Music Academy and its affiliated Red Bull Radio. The focus of his work is on cultural journalism and music-related topics and creative audio design.
