Born in in the 90s in the GDR, singer and artist David Novell has been living in Leipzig for ten years now. David's musical journey began in the 2010s, when he found his own niche between hip hop and new wave synth sounds through several mixtapes. Equipped with the experience David gained in previous projects, he debuted as David Novell in 2022 with the single "Chiptune". This was followed by further single releases. With "Showrunner", David released a music video for the first time, which was created in collaboration with an AI. In it, the boundaries between man and machine, between collective and individual are questioned.
