Brenda Blitz is a young wave pop artist. Brenda Blitz found her musical home in New Wave, and her first songs were influenced by Joy Division and Talking Heads alike. At the Melt Festival three years ago, she decided she really urgently needed to go on stage - and first went into the studio of Ralv Milberg in Stuttgart, who was producing the post-punk sound of the moment with Die Nerven, Levin Goes Lightly and Karies. Blitz's music is definitely poppier, but the gesture and attitude is clear: PUNK.

Together with their choreographers Chiara Battaglia and Denise Ferlito, Blitz develops choreographies that shape live shows and music videos. Because Blitz wouldn't be Blitz if the artwork stopped after the music. Brenda Blitz shows are an invitation to experience, a happening - an attempt to make the boundaries between stage and audience disappear.

"Schock Herzbrand" is the second EP by Brenda Blitz (release date: 29.07.22). It was recorded together with guitarist and producer Nick Höser. They have been writing and producing since October 2020 - in a barn that Höser converted into a "Super Studio" in the Taunus region. In this idyllic setting, 5.5 new songs were created. 5.5 songs between melancholy and euphoria, between friendship, love, Instagram and loneliness.
