Andrew was born as a US citizen in West Berlin during the Cold War. After working as a journalist and photographer on both sides of the Berlin wall he joined the music industry in the beginning of the 90's. His work experience includes time in senior positions at Sony Music Germany, SPV Records, Koch International and V2 Records. He also worked as Director of Development at the Colisium International Music Convention (Russia) and founded in 1992 Gordeon Music Promotion, as well as Steam Music Management, Publishing & Creative Services in 2013 (Berlin) / Steam Music Group LLC in 2022 (Los Angeles).
