DIANA - AI Song Contest & Prize (Special)

This year as part of c/o pop xoxo the DIANA will be awarded for the first time. The award goes to musicians who have written and produced songs using the AI software Boomy and open source lyric generators during the DIANA Songwriting Camp. During the DIANA Ceremony the winning team will receive the DIANA trophy and several other prizes. As musical special guest, we are pleased to welcome the artist Portrait XO.

Sandira Blas

As Senior Curator & Researcher at Factory Berlin, Sandira is focused on innovation projects that meet at the intersection of Tech & Art for their Artist Residency and Creators Lab. With nearly 20 years in music, she has worked with producers, music schools, and music-tech brands such as Akai Pro and M-Audio where she was previously Head of Partnerships & Marketing at inMusic Brands. Some notable projects include Alicia Keys, John Carpenter, Neil Davidge, Rough Trade, Tony Visconti, and more. She is an (phase 1) innovator participant of Keychange.EU, a 2-year European talent development programme that empowers women to transform the future of the music industry. Her presentation and talks include Soho House Berlin, Musikmesse, BMC, Mutek Montreal, BIME, Iceland Airwaves, Tech Open Air, Ars Electronica and Reeperbahn Festival.

Ralph Christoph

Ralph Christoph is a Founding member of the c/o pop festival in Cologne. The former journalist and editor (StadtRevue, SPEX) was the Program director for the c/o pop festival until 2006. Since then is in charge of the international relationships and the strategic direction. From 2011-13 he was the MD for the C'n'B Convention, since 2014 he is the Head of program for the c/o pop Convention. He is also Program director for the 2013 founded festival »INTERACTIVE Cologne«. He initiated and operated several international projects e.g. in India, China and Colombia.

Stefanie Grawe

Stefanie Grawe ist Designerin und elektronische Musikproduzentin – GRAY – aus Köln. Neben ihrem aktuellen Musikmaster am Institut für Popmusik der Folkwang Universität der Künste bewegen sich ihre Interessen an der Schnittstelle von Design, Musik und neuen Technologien. Im Rahmen ihres Studiums an der Köln International School of Design ging sie in ihrer Arbeit „The Black Box Experiment“ der Frage nach, inwiefern Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) kreativer Partner des musikalischen Schaffensprozesses sein kann, übersetzte das Systemverhalten eines künstlichen neuronalen Netzwerkes in eine menschliche musikalische Performance und gewann dafür den Lucky Strike Junior Designer Award 2019.

Jovanka v. Wilsdorf

Jovanka v. Wilsdorf

Jovanka v. Wilsdorf ist Musikerin, Artist-Profiler und Songwriterin bei BMG Rights Management. Mit Ihrer Band Quarks tourte sie Europa und veröffentlichte fünf Alben auf Sony Music und Monika Enterprise, bevor sie begann als Artist Coach und Production Consultant mit Plattenfirmen wie Universal, dem Musicboard und dem Music Pool Berlin zu arbeiten. Jovanka v. Wilsdorf ist Buchautorin, schreibt Werbetexte und ist Speaker rund um die Themen Künstliche Intelligenz und Kreativität. 2019 trat sie dem Board von MusicWomenGermany bei und wurde zu Speaker für WeAreEurope ernannt.

Strategic Tech Advisor & Project Manager for the Creative Industries with a focus on Music Tech, Film Tech, Future of Synch & Licensing, Blockchain & Smart Contract Applications, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Ethics in Technology, New Realities & Immersive Content, Digital Media & Education Technology, including Conference and Festival Curation and Management. Co-founder and Vice President of MusicTech Germany, co-founder of Music Unchained, a series of events focussed on New Technologies for the Music Industry and co-founder of the Creative Tech Agency WickedWork, all based in Berlin. Selected as a participant in the EU-funded Keychange program, founder of the international Magna Initiative and co-founder and Board Member of Music Women Germany, Claudia is furthermore dedicated to the promotion of diversity and inclusivity within the Creative Industries, particularly of Women in Music & Technology.

Alex Jae Mitchell is the founder and CEO of Boomy Corporation (boomy.com), a company developing music automation technologies using artificial intelligence. Mitchell is a serial music entrepreneur who previously founded Audiokite Research, the leading market research platform for independent music, which was acquired in 2016. Mitchell has worked with a number of media companies in consulting and advisory capacities, including Artiphon, Shady Records / Goliath Artists, DotBC/Verifi Media, Reflex Group, and Krantz Media Group.
