Platzt die Podcast-Blase bald? Oder kommt der große Goldrausch noch? An innovativen Formaten, neuen Stimmen und frischen Perspektiven jedenfalls mangelt es nicht. Und die big player sind in Stellung gegangen, um den Audio-Markt zu dominieren. Musik-Podcasts sind dabei bisher noch nicht mal zur vollen Blüte gekommen. Es wird in Podcasts zwar viel über Musik gesprochen. Die Musik selbst ist bislang aus rechtlichen Gründen kaum zu hören gewesen. Das kann sich nun ändern...

Tina Jürgens

Tina Jürgens is managing director of the podcast network zebra-audio.net, which brings podcast producers and advertisers together and supports them from conception and production to distribution, promotion and podcast marketing. Since February 2020, she has also been deputy chair of the BVDW focus group audio. Prior to this, she worked for major media companies such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, Axel Springer and most recently for Bayerischer Rundfunk and its marketing subsidiary BRmedia Service GmbH. During this time she specialised in the exploitation and licensing of audio content. When the Berliner-by-choice does not deal with podcasts, she practices yoga and supports the Doping-Opfer-Hilfe e.V.

As Vice President BOLD COLLECTIVE, Samira Leitmannstetter heads the creative powerhouse at Sony Music Germany. Under her leadership, the Collective delivers a wide variety of different artist and label services, which in turn cover the areas of content strategy, data-driven business, influencer & public relations, own editorial brands and podcasting. The aim is to build up artists, creator and editorial brands, to link them efficiently and to place them on all relevant platforms in the best possible way.

Jule Wasabi aka Juliane Wieler is 27 years young and studied law in Potsdam. After graduating she moved from Berlin to Cologne, where she worked for two years as an editor for the Bild-und Tonfabrik in the neo magazine Royale. For four years she has been making a Deutschrap podcast together with Falk Schacht from PULS, the young network of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation. At the end of 2019 she became producer of the original Spotify podcast "Paardiologie". Together with Charlotte Roche she founded AFM, Al Forno Media GmbH, a production company for podcasts and more, at the beginning of this year. Her new podcast KohlKids was created in cooperation with WDR and MDR, with Friederike Schicht she talks there about life in reunited Germany.

Schiwa Schlei

Schiwa Schlei is on the one hand program director of COSMO, the young, international cultural radio station of WDR. On the other hand, she is head of ARD's partner management Audio und Voice. Both reflect her passion and her journalistic career, because the digital world has been her home from the beginning. At 1LIVE, she built up the Internet editorial team - initially focusing on the website, later on social media and App. At SWR3.de she started her career in the public sector, before further stations at WDR.de and sportschau.de followed. She studied history, political science and media studies, followed by a cross-media traineeship at rp-online, one of the first daily newspapers on the net in Germany.
