Thelma has been proving her versatility as an actress for years in cinema, television and on the theater stage. She can be seen in award-winning productions such as "Berlin Alexanderplatz" and "Borga" and in Karoline Herfurth's "Wunderschön". On TV, she regularly plays journalist Marla Blum in "Löwenzahn." Since 2019, she has been permanently engaged at the Schauspielhaus Zurich, where she thrills audiences. As a presenter, she presented the concert format "Open stage Berlin - Die tägliche Doris" for ARTE in 2021. In the same year she started as host of the weekly SWR talk show "Five Souls", through which she leads together with Hadnet Tesfai and Natasha Kimberly. In her specially conceived comedy web series "Tell me nothing from the horse," Thelma plays characters who pull the wool over racial stereotypes and prejudices. As the founder of the "Black Womxn Matter" community, she ensures the empowerment of female Afro-German perspectives in the media landscape and society.
