Originally from the Rhineland, Désirée J. Vach is the General Manager of GSA for leading b2b distributor, FUGA, a Downtown company.
Vach joined Downtown-owned FUGA in 2023 for her current role as General Manager of GSA, here she oversees the region’s business development and growth. The FUGA roster in the region includes label partners such as Odyssey Music Label, CloudKid, Phat Penguin and Aesthete.
From 2017 to 2019, Vach was Chair of the VUT e.V. (Association of Independent Musicians and Music Companies) and is co-founder of VUT Diversity (VUT Vielfalt) a network which promotes diversity for women*/FLINTA working in the German music industry through mentoring programs, panels and seminars. She is also a member of the advisory board of the Society for Music Economics and
Music Culture Research in Germany.
