Studies in musicology, art history and business administration at Karl-Franzens-University Graz; 2009 PhD with a thesis on sound design in television advertising; 2009 to 2014 post-doctoral university assistant at the Institute for Musicology at Karl-Franzens-University Graz and at the Institute for Cultural Management and Gender Studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna; 2015 to 2021 junior professor for event management with a focus on popular music, media and sports; since 2021 professor for event management with a focus on pop music cultures and digital media cultures in the subject of music at the University of Paderborn; research interests include. a.: Transdisciplinary event research, socio-political and cultural-political dimensions of event management, co-creation and participation processes in the context of event design.
