After the successful prelude, the second Pop Summit will take place this year. At the event, the successful implementation of the ideas and projects from 2020 will be presented, important discussions will be continued, and the course for future work will be set.

One focus will be on BV Pop's "Pop Stipendium", in which 1,125 young artists were quickly and easily supported in important career steps within a year with a funding volume of 7 million euros during the pandemic. The presentation and classification of the results will show how the program has provided "start-up assistance in difficult times".

The "Networked Forward" panel will focus on the importance and networking of regionalPopfunding and ask what the next steps should be here.

The "Music of the Future" panel will show how new technology and market logics are changing the industries and how pop promotion must change along with them in order to continue to meet its goals in the "Music Ecosystem 4.0".

In addition to the conference strand, Pop Summit 2023 will feature various networking formats. In addition, numerous bands from the ranks of the fellows can be experienced on stage.
