Booking Basics is a workshop focused on tour and festival booking, offering a practical insight into the world of concert and festival organisation.
Participants will get to know the various stages of the booking process, starting with how to craft a convincing cover letter, followed by selecting the right promoters.
A key focus will also be on contract and deal negotiations. The workshop will conclude with an exploration of the logistics and promotion of tours and (showcase) festivals.
The aim is to provide participants with a fundamental understanding of the industry, equipping them with the necessary tools for planning and executing tours and festivals.
This workshop is designed for industry newcomers and will be a mix of lecture and Q&A, with plenty of time for group discussions at the end.
