Since the age of seventeen, Kerstin Mayer has spent a lot of time at concerts. For several years, she also worked behind the bar or as an event organizer. At the same time, she trained as a tax clerk, studied media management and passed the exam to become an event manager. Afterwards she worked in various media companies before she got to know and love the topic of cultural promotion. She spent several years as a project supervisor at the Federal Funding Agency for Popular Music and most recently headed the financial administration of a foundation that supports initiatives against group-related misanthropy. Since 2020, she has been advising artists and musicians on the application and processing of funding projects.
