Tanja Godlewsky is an independent creative director from Cologne and an expert on design and pop culture. She realizes complex design projects in culture, science and business. In addition to her expertise in contemporary visual culture, branding and publishing, she discusses and researches the visual productions of pop musicians. This goes hand in hand with a long-standing exploration of the possibilities of gender design in a (pop) cultural context. Tanja Godlewsky has been working for many years with students at various design and art schools, such as the Department of Design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen or the Cologne International School of Design. She has been teaching concept and design at the Folkwang Institute for Pop Music since it was established in 2014.
