Ralph Christoph

Director c/o pop Convention | cologne on pop GmbH

Ralph H. Christoph is one of the founders of the c/o pop festival in Cologne. He was program director of the c/o pop festival from 2004 to 2007. Since then, he has been in charge of international relations and the strategic direction of the overall c/o pop brand. From 2011 to 2013, he was also program director of the C'n'B - Creativity & Business Convention, and since 2014 he has been in charge of the c/o pop Convention. In the 1990s, he worked as an editor at Germany's leading music magazine SPEX (1993 to 1998), among other positions, before studying South Africa's youth and music culture on a Deutsche Welle (DW) scholarship. In 1998, he founded the agency BÜRO WASSERDICHT, where he supervised the artists* of the KOMPAKT labels, among others, and opened the Cologne club STUDIO 672. He also published and translated various books and book contributions, including. "Neue Soundtracks für den Volksempfänger - Nazirock, Jugendkultur und rechter Mainstream", Edition ID-Archiv, 1993 and Fab 5 Freddy "Fresh Fly Flavour", Eichborn Verlag, 1995. Since 2008 he has initiated and supervised numerous projects for various partners and institutions in India, China, Brazil and Colombia, among others.
