Comets: phenomena that are as beautiful as they are mysterious. Goosebumps incoming!

The indie guitars pearl so finely between the soulfully placed voices that even Ben Howard would turn green with envy. Add to that the cello that lets us sink completely into the songs and we can dream ourselves away to every imaginable place. Past melancholic hills over wildly overgrown fields, "The Komets" float by with ease and thus directly under the skin!

"The Komets" are Paulina Urban (vocals, keyboard), Jonny Ebert (drums) and the sisters Klara (vocals, cello) and Anna Metko (vocals, guitar). In October 2020, they released their debut LP "Vibrancy" (>60,000 streams). In 2021, the focus was therefore particularly on performing their album live, including as local tour support for "Cari Cari". Further releases and an EP release are planned for 2022 with the support of the Künstler:innenförderung of the Initiative Musik. Together with Elena Steri, who like The Komets is also part of the top support programme BY.On of the Association for Pop Culture in Bavaria, a live session was created last year.

The Komets' concert is part of the funding project "c/o pop 2022 musichubgermany " and is supported by the Initiative Musik gemeinnützige Projektgesellschaft GmbH with project funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
