After the Whoriental cabaret showcase and the ballroom walks, the night opens into the Whoriental after party, where sweat, movement, and freedom take over the dance floor. DJ Ashtattz from Barcelona sets the space on fire with an experimental mix of Oriental and SWANA sounds, blended with booty-bouncy Afro-Latin rhythms, electrified electronic textures, and house beats — a wild, celebratory moment where culture, release, and collective joy collide.

Ash , known artistically as Ashtattz. is a queer DJ, producer, and community builder based in Barcelona. Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, they blend Middle Eastern rhythms with global club culture, creating hypnotic, percussive, and emotionally driven soundscapes.

In 2024, Ash founded Takhina, a queer club night celebrating Arab and LGBTQ+ communities, and launched Frequency, an online radio and streaming platform amplifying queer voices in electronic music. In 2025, they headlined WHORIENTAL Festival in Berlin and Tropikal Festival in Amsterdam, performing across major European cities.

WHORIENTAL Festival is a Berlin-based music, performance and club festival initiated by QueerBerg Collective Berlin, a QTBIPOC collective for queer, trans, refugee and immigrant artists and performers founded in 2018. While QueerBerg’s community work began in 2018, WHORIENTAL has existed as a festival since 2023, created as a deliberate provocation and a reclaimed space for those shaping culture from the margins.
