Mitgründer / Betreiber der Wohngemeinschaft
Jens Ponke is co-founder and, since 2008, operator of the Cologne project "die wohngemeinschaft" in the Belgian Quarter, which, in addition to a bar, hostel and creative space, is also home to one of Cologne's smallest concert and cultural stages. He also oversees, among other things, the concert series and music festival "At The B-Sites", the district festival "Ehrenfeld-Hopping" and the Summer Stage, which already opened in June 2020 as Germany's first open-air stage suitable for pandemics.
Since 2019, he has been a board member of Cologne's Klubkomm. As such, he helped to develop, for example, the "Cologne Culture Stream" in the first Lockdown 2020, a "solidarity pact for Cologne's cultural landscape" that was awarded the Applause Special Prize of the Initiative Musik.
